on Ideas for NYS to Address the (Mis)education of Black Children

Test results show Black and Brown students do not score high on the tests.  But what does that mean?  And what can be done?  We think more money should be directed toward parents, caregivers, and communities so they can assess and teach their children's literacy and math skills at home.  We also think the lens needs to be flipped to see what happens when Black and Brown children are taught and tested in schools.  We see the outcomes in test scores.  What are the inputs?
