It's back to school time! Visit the Education Station for tips for a great school year and our newest book list.
Open to families and children ages 5-15. Have fun, immerse in Afrocentric experiences and learn more about Sankofa Saturdays, a project of Sankofa Experiences by BCDI NYS. BCDI NYS partners with the Alice Moore Black Arts and Cultural Center to offer Sankofa Saturdays sessions at 135 State Street in Albany, NY.
Sankofa Experiences by BCDI NYS is a community-based Afrocentric educational, cultural and social enrichment project. Our Sankofa Saturdays project is not a boring sit down and say nothing experience! This is a dynamic, child-centered experience that encourages active engagement with a lot of fun!
